Stupid argument. They only get the dishonorable points if they ragequit a team. They still get banned if they have inappropriate character names or use offensive language or w/e.
And even then, you don't get barred from PvE if you ragequit.

You really, really should read all of the OP's post before you try starting the PvP vs PvE nonsense. When you see that his names were on PvP characters, you'll realise how much your post fails.

You turn off the filter, you've accepted our language. Don't like it? Turn on the filter.

Incorrect. There is no filter for many racist or other untoward comments. Because the filter doesnt take them out does not mean they are acceptable. I would guess that the filter was in place for such things as parents to switch on to protect their underage children from the language (as an example).
Having said that, the filter doesnt work anyway, as people always "work around the filters" anyway. People who cant control themselves and their language deserve every report they get.

Rules of Conduct
3. You may not use sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or racially or ethnically offensive language.
(j) In the Game(s), characters have the privilege of sending server wide messages called "Chat Messages." With this privilege comes a high level of responsibility on the part of the user. Due to the fact that this communication channel has the ability to impact every player on the server, NC Interactive will not tolerate any inappropriate behavior of any sort in this chat channel. This includes but is not limited to: inappropriate language of any sort or any attempt to escape the profanity filter, inappropriate or vulgar content of any sort, repeated "spamming," or "flooding" of the chat messages channel, or any other conduct determined to be inappropriate by NC Interactive Support, in its sole discretion. Any violation of this term or rules of conduct may, in the sole discretion of NC Interactive, lead to the temporary removal of the character's ability to communicate, the account being suspended for a set period of time, or lead to permanent account closure.

The names are incredibly childish/rediculous in my opinion, but I don't take offense in virtually any name. I think the whole name censorship is pretty childish/rediculous if people want to run around with some rediculous name I couldn't care less. I've never reported anyone for any name. But I guess that's how they want their game, there isn't much I can do about it so... meh.

think about it
First let me say I am the ghostfarter,corpsecrapper,fartsablazein,guy...
My acct was suspended just for those names only,no other reason.
I have read these post and find some interesting and some, well thats why they make choc and van icecream, people like different things.
Why did I choose the names?
Knew noone would have them, and maybe tryin to bring a little humor.
Did I think they would offend anyone,no not at all.
(hopefully these same people don't get the cartoon channel or wow no more grim adventures or anything...)
Childish name...ok I respect your thought on that,
Does it mean I am a childish player????
well lets see I ab alot, never t baged anyone, never spoke bad to anyone when I won, never danced over a corpse, never yelled out anything like treehuger or luxons suck, no nothing like that.( but I have had it happen to me, did I report it no...just part of the game.)
I have commented on someone kicking my but to the dust, told them nice build , sweet fight,....such as this.
I go to noob island and help people with mish and quest for FREE, thats right I give back to the community.I give weapons that I could sale away to new members and just strangers that can use them.
Is that childish????Read the book before you judge the cover.
Thats like saying if a guy makes a girl char or a girl makes a guy char.,they must have gay feelings,..lol just not true.
The report button I think is good if you don't abuse it,Standing around reporting people 10-20 times a day, well thats just tells me someone needs a friend. But its your right and by all means prove yourself powerful and report away.
Do I think I was wronged in the suspension,,, yes but thats their right and so be it.
Will I continue supporting the game of guildwars?Or any anet game?
Sort of hard to say,Something this simple gets reported and we all have seen worse actions go by with nothing done to their accounts.
I hope you all respect and try to have a good game rather you are kurz or lux. Just remember there are people out there with no humor and have nothing better to do but report people for the smallest reasons.
Ghost Farter
soon to be the ghost constipaited.....

I report offensive language/names several times a day. Why be offensive? It just doesn't make sense. Internet anonymity gives way too much leeway for people so they can be offensive, abusive, or rude without any consequences. Imo, if you couldn't say it to someones face without getting punched, you shouldn't say it online.

Whether I'd have reported any of those names or not would depend on my frame of mind at the time of seeing them. Chances are, probably not - I'd have rolled my eyes and/or laughed a bit and wondered why the player had chosen a name they knew was sailing close to the wind.
BTW it's spelled "Constipated" if you really must continue with toilet humour names, and "Silent But Deadly" is a way better name than "Ghost Farter" IMO! :P
